How to backup the unencrypted password protected folders? These folders are dimmed in the Backup tab folder list.

Those don't need any special attention from Espionage and so can be backed up using any regular backup method (Time Machine, or whatever software you want). If you get prompted to unlock the folder when the backup program runs, that's what the Whitelist feature in Espionage is for, you can whitelist any app directly from the password prompt by changing the action from "Unlock folder" to "Whitelist [app]".

You don't need any special software for backup the unencrypted password protected folders. You will find the pop up to unlock the folder it is nothing but the whitelist feature of the Espionage.
