folders owned by root
« on: December 14, 2010, 07:57:59 PM »
Is it possible to encrypt folders like:
 /private/var/folders
 /private/var/tmp
 /private/tmp

Is there a way to run Espionage as root to do this?

The concern is that sensitive data can be created in these locations by applications and are not being protected.

Currently this is not possible, a full-disk encryption solution like PGP's Whole Disk Encryption would encrypt that however.  The content of these folders should be deleted on restart however.
