I just downloaded the free trial espionage app. Upon opening it, it is asking for a password.
Never had a password, never used it before this time.
ALSO, preferences are grayed out.
Please advise,

Hello, it is the password you have to set, and it will be used from then on to unlock espionage and access the protected folders.
So it is something you choose and please do not forget it as without it the data is lost.
