Espionage 3 / Can't see contents of decrypted folder from remote Mac
« on: February 12, 2017, 09:11:20 AM »
I use Espionage to protect a folder on my iMac. I have the same on my MacBook. In the past I’ve decrypted both folders to synchronise them by copying new documents over from the one to the other. This involves (typically) logging in to my MacBook (over my local network) from my iMac, navigating to the unencrypted folder and then dragging and dropping the relevant documents.

However when I tried to do that yesterday (and I tried multiple times in both directions), while I could see the unencrypted folder from the remote Mac, the folder appeared to be empty (on the local Mac it was full of documents). Please could you help me resolve this issue so I can synchronise the two Macs.

I'm using the most recent versions of Espionage and Sierra.

Espionage 3 / "There isn't enough free space"
« on: November 05, 2016, 10:39:02 PM »
I'm configuring a 2TB SSD, which will replace the HD in my iMac. Right now it's plugged via a USB port and I'm using it as a startup drive like that. I've installed Espionage (v 3.6.6) and I have a large folder (about 35GB) that I want to encrypt.

Here's the problem… When I drop the folder onto Espionage, I get the following message:'the item can't be copied because there isn't enough free space'.

There is almost 1.5TB of free space on the SSD so this doesn't make sense. I've tried restarting the Mac, reopening Espionage, etc. Nothing works. BTW, I'm running Mac OS 10.12.1.

Can anyone help me to find a solution?

Espionage 3 / syncing two macs
« on: July 11, 2013, 03:12:48 PM »
I an Espionage-encrypted folder on my desktop Mac that I'd like to keep synced with my laptop. My preference would be to do so using one-way syncing with ChronoSync.

First I unlock and mount the disk images on both machines.
Then I log into my laptop with my desktop machine.
But then the mounted disk image on my laptop isn't visible from my desktop machine so I can't sync them.

Please can you tell me how to make the mounted disk image on one Mac available from other other?
