I cannot copy to my encrypted folder because there is not enough space. The folder is 8.5 gb , is there anyway to allow for a bigger size? Is there a cap on how big an encrypted folder can be?

Did you add the 8.5 GB folder to Espionage, or you added an empty folder to Espionage and then tried to copy the 8.5GB data into it?
If the later, then try the first approach. Pls make sure you have at least 8.5 GB free space on the disk, would better to have some more like 10GB.
