I did not forget my password but after updating my OS to Snow Leopard, I cant access the encrypted folders with the original password. I have tried numerous times and every way possible to no avail. The stupidly I deleted the keychain file and now Im getting this message. Need help as I have a lot of data that I cannot afford to lose!

Hi romiarcher,

No worries, your files are most likely safe, but Espionage may need to be reset.

First, check to see if this folder contains any backups of the keychain file:

/Users/[your username]/Library/Application Support/Espionage/Backups
If it contains files beginning with "Espionage" and ending in the "keychain" extension, choose the most recent one and copy it to the parent folder (Espionage), and then rename it to "Espionage.keychain".

If you don't see file though, you'll need to follow these directions to reset Espionage.

Make sure that you're also using the latest version of Espionage (currently 2.8.5).
Follow @espionageapp@twitter.com or @espionage@mstdn.io for news and updates!
