I just happen to notice that my auto backups are not working. I have tried changing the destination and and ensuring the flag/option is selected, but no luck. I can manually backup any of my folders which means the privileges are okay, just no autoback on app/folder close.
This is because of a bug that was introduced in 2.8.8. It will be fixed in the next release which we're currently working on. For now either wait for the timer to cause the backups or manually initiate them from the Espionage icon in the menubar.
