I see the file "Documents" in terminal but not .Documents.sparsebundle. Console does not reflect any errors. The image was created while in snow leopard but the new computer is running lion.

I was running espionage on a Mac, encrypting a folder on an external drive. The drive crashed and I just replaced the computer, and did a time machine restore on the new computer. I am able to see the .sparsebundle file, however when I double click it, it asks for password and once entered correctly, nothing happens. I am running OSX Lion, and need to access this data. Am I doing anything wrong? What can I do to access this folder so that I can restore it?

What e-mail can I send a screenshot to so that you can see exactly what I am getting?

The encrypted image appears just as any other folder. When I open it, there are three folders called "This folder contains encrypted data", "It is controlled by Espionage", & "Do not modify in this state". I cannot open the encrypted image.

Espionage 2 / Encrypted Folder Not Recognized
February 02, 2012, 08:03:30 AM
I am unable to get espionage to recognize an encrypted folder, but may have thought of a solution, and would appreciate any thoughts/feedback before I attempt this... I have a Time Machine backup of my boot drive, and I am wondering if I removed Espionage from my computer and restored from an earlier backup from before espionage stopped decrypting the folder that I've been using with espionage, would that possibly work? Either that or is there a library file that I should restore from Time Machine?

Thanks!!!

Espionage 2 / Unable to access encrypted file
January 12, 2012, 09:52:18 AM
I was having difficulty accessing a folder encrypted by espionage, and I accidentally removed the folder from the encryption list in the program. When I try to add the folder once again, it acts as if it was an unencrypted folder and I cannot restore the data. I assume the answer would be the same as if I was to move the folder to a new computer with a fresh install of the software, but I cannot figure out how that would work, especially since espionage is not recognizing that the folder is encrypted. Thanks in advance!!!
