Title: [UI] Make click works on the lock/unlock switch
Post by: fmcypriano on May 28, 2012, 11:57:34 AM
For me it's being pretty bad experience the lock/unlock switch because I've to click and hold and then drag it to change its state. I think it would be much better if I could also just click on it and the state change. Just like on the iOS standard switch which accepts a tap and the drag gesture.

Yes absolutely, I've the same usability problem and would be happy to see that.

Another suggestion to the same button. When I activate it (hopefully with only a click in the future) it should remain activated even if Espionage is still working in unlocking (or vice-versa).

It's odd to drag to activate and it goes back to inactive while the unlocking process is on going and then it activates again.

It does work just by clicking. Just click on the empty space to make the switch "jump" there and let go. ;)

Well it's not what we're used to since iOS, where you just click and it flips over, no matter where you click.

And in this way, it also feels more natural as a real switch would behave

Hmm, interesting, I thought it was more natural this way since on a laptop/desktop you use a mouse pointer (which has pixel accuracy) instead of a finger.
