It is what it is now. Would be great if they can come out a comparison matrix box to compare with other competitors in the market with regard to software features.

Been tracking the progress of Espionage, well done on the new update. But my main purpose of using this app is for Mail App encryption.

With Espionage 3, I am still able to:

(1) Select Mail App, then encrypt it.
(2) Restart Mac (Reopen windows when logging back in... checkbox will remember the previous setting.. so my new default is off. No more conflict)
(3) BUT Upon Opening Mail App, it opens as if its brand new day 1. No password prompt saying the Mail App has been encrypted.
(4) I have to Close the Mail App now, and manually UNLOCK the Mail App by opening Espionage App and selecting it.

---When Will password prompt feature be coming back, its a simple feature that makes a whole difference? I really hope we can get a definitive answer before the 50% sale is gone...

Espionage 2 / Lion, Mail App & Espionage

I'm still in the middle of testing out this awesome app, but came across a bug, or i should say incompatibility with lion os...

Software works great, but with the Lion's feature of: Restart - Check: "Reopen windows when logging back in"

It causes problem...

1. After restart, Mail App asks for IMAP/POP password. If you enter it, it hangs there. - Not cool!

Or

2. After restart, Mail App ask for IMAP/POP password, you select cancel, its seems okay. - Its irritating/annoying.

I found out the proper way was to either:

1. Quit the Mail App before restarting

Or

2. UnCheck: "Reopen windows when logging back in" before restarting

I would suggest to have espionage auto force quit ANY apps before the computer goes restart, to prevent this from happening. I haven't yet purchase this app, & hope theres a fix for this before my time limited trial ends....

& also have an option for user to check/uncheck auto force quit an App when computer goes standby...
