I created a backup in the system drive as a test, and now the backup destination has been moved to the external drive. But the old backup still there, how can I delete the "EspionageBackups" folder in the condition of removing also the disk image? Do I just delete the image (folder) like a normal deletion?

I'm not sure I quite follow, are you asking how to delete the backups folder? If you changed the location of the backups folder and want to delete the EspionageBackups folder that's located in the previous location, just delete it like you would any other folder (trash it).
