Hello,

I've a folder that is auto unlocked when I login and this folder sparsebundle file is in Dropbox. The doubt is do I need to lock the folder before using the folder on another Mac or just by shutting down my Mac it is safe to use on other?

Scenarios:
1. Login -> auto unlock -> work on folder all day -> shut down Mac.
2. Login -> auto unlock -> work on folder all day -> manually lock folder -> shut down Mac.

Do I need to manually lock the folder before using it on another Mac?

Hello, shut down of the Mac, as well as log out, should lock all the folders, so there is no need to lock it by hand.
