Hi,
I upgraded to Mountain Lion after a crashed HD and imported applications from my old Mac, one of which included the Espionage Application.
Espionage didn't work, because of com.taoeffect.EspionageHelper.plist that could not be found.
I checked all your earlier topics on this problem and did what was explained here:
Force Uninstall Espionage
I did manage to uninstall, but re-installing did not help I get the same error....
I use version 2.8.10 Mountain Lion 10.8.2
While putting old users back, something did not work out and I have a user now with same name plus 2

Would greatly appreciate some help here.
TIA
Karen

Hello Karen,
What is the error you are getting?
If it is "cannot communicate with helper" then do the following:
delete the file /Users/[your username]/Library/LaunchAgents/com.taoeffect.EspionageHelper.plist
go to your application folder, right click on the Espioange and select show package content, then doubleclick on the Espionage Helper.
Now try to launch espionge.

Let me know if it worked.

@Zsolt
Gee that's all?  :) Thanks.
And I've been on it for hours!
It's working and backup came in handy, all folders are back and secured.
Thanks again!!
