Title: Whoops upgraded to version 3 the wrong way help.

When I upgraded to Mavericks, I still had vers 2. I then got the email and download version 3 but instead of uninstalling vers 2, I copied over it and now have lost access to my vers 2 folders.... How can I get into them? Thanks... And do I still need to officially/the right way uninstall vers 2?
