ICal Template - doubled entries

I am not 100% sure if this is Espionage related.

I have used the ICal template. ICal (and other related apps) were not running during the encryption. After encryption i opened Ical, entered the password and all entries under "On My Mac" were doubled.

If i delete the double entries and reopen ICal the doubled entries reappear.

I emptied the trash, with no effect.

It could be a problem with icalviewer (http://www.icalviewer.com/), which i forgot to close during the encryption process.

Is there a way to figure out what data files ICal is using and delete the doubled ones?

Make sure that the iCal viewer program (and any programs that access iCal's data) are with the Calendars folder, and then restart your computer (and after restarting, clear our the duplicates).
