"Backup Now" only on Global Status menu

Version 2.8.5

I cannot seem to find a way to force a backup other than from the Global Status menu. This poses an inconvenience when the option to show the Global Status menu is disabled.

This all came about when encrypting my Address Book and there was a backup failure of the SyncServices folder. The Alert suggested re-running the backup.
