Finder icon display after lock

I have my files in Finder set to display as a list as the default, but after I've locked folders every time I then unlock a folder the files are displayed as icons. Not a huge deal, but annoying. Any help to correct that would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Otter, I cannot reproduce this, can you please make a new example and write me each step you do, or just record a screencast and then I can take a look.
