Can't get Espionage to show in menu bar

Downloaded current trial version of Espionage 3 to Macbook Air running 10.7.5. It shows in Dock, as an application in Finder and as the padlock in the menu bar, but I can't get the Espionage application to show in the menu bar so can't do a lot of things. I am missing something simple but I can't find what. Thanks for help.

Hello, what does happen when you click on the padlock in the menu bar with your left mouse button?
